CNN.com openly regurgitates “talking points”
Check out the end of this CNN.com article (google cache for posterity). Despite being written by the network's "Special Investigations Unit," the article literally relays "talking points" from the Department of Labor word for word, as if they were just copy-and-pasted. (They probably were.)
The fact that the article clearly identifies the talking points as such (rather than passing them off as actual reporting) only slightly mitigates how creepy I find this. Apparently CNN has picked up the role as government mouthpiece now that FOX is in the doghouse.
