Charlie’s wedding
Gov. Crist just got married at First Methodist, like, an hour ago. Check out this awesome lede on the St. Pete Times:
When Gov. Charlie Crist kissed the bride, it was tender and brief. She wanted more.
So she put her hands on his face and kissed him again.
Later on...
The biggest celebrity, perhaps, was Geraldo Rivera... He said he talked about Crist's wedding on Fox News' Bill O'Reilly show and O'Reilly said to give the governor his love.

You just can't make this stuff up. Heh.
I do feel kind of sorry for the two of them. But you know... this isn't the 1950's, and St. Pete is hardly America's heartland. Crist could've used the passage of Amendment 2 as an opening. He could've shown up at Mirror Lake, come out, and vowed to fight. But he didn't. He's taken the coward's way (or, more likely, the incredibly-ambitious-politician's way).
He and whatshername have made their bed, and they can lie in it.
